Description of Opportunity: The 2024 Convention Program Topic Chairs are in search of ASHA members, NSSLHA members, affiliate members, and/or members of the Special Interest Groups who are willing to serve as reviewers for proposals submitted to specific Topic Areas in the ASHA Call for Papers. Selected committee members will be required to review proposals, work with the Topic Chairs to develop the Convention Program, contribute to the development of the invited sessions, and identify key presenters. Reliable, detail-oriented volunteers who are willing to commit during peak review times (April 25 – May 13, 2024) are encouraged to submit their names for consideration directly to the Topic Chairs in their area of their expertise. If you are selected as a reviewer, you will also be required to participate in conference calls as scheduled by the Topic Chair to review the goals and objectives of the Convention Program and the specifics of the review process. The review period will open on April 25, 2024 and will close on May 13, 2024, 11:59 p.m. EST.
Experience Required: Ability to objectively review proposals and assess whether or not the proposal should be accepted into the Convention program.
